Yes, I'm posting two days in a row for the first time in forever (insert my little sister singing that part...). I know that this is pretty early for me to post too (it's 5:30 in the morning here...), but I realized last night before going to bed that if I was going to post today I had to do it super early or I wouldn't be able to because I have stuff I'm doing after school (namely seeing The Minions Movie - yeah, I know I'm a little kid, but :P).
Anyway, I think I am going to talk about anime like a suggested yesterday. So, update time it is.
I am currently caught up on the following series: Durarara x2(new season just started and I am very excited - things are getting crazy, but what else do you expect with Durarara?), Kuroko's Basketball (I love this series and all, but this game against Rakuzan is taking forever, although I guess I shouldn't complain too much because I'm pretty sure once this game ends the series is over, *sad face*), Ace of the Diamond (not much to say about it right now... I still need to do a post about it, don't I...?) and Uta no Prince-sama (the latest season just ended and it's apparently definitely getting another one... at this point I'm not even sure why I watch it anymore... but I do sometimes like the songs... and the cheesiness makes me laugh... but the cheesiness is also getting a little *cough* a lot *cough* excessive and it's upsetting my lactose-intolerance).
I also finished Your Lie in April. Now I know that the last time I talked about it I went on this long spiel about how I wasn't going to watch it anymore and that led to a rant about not forcing yourself to continue watching something if you're not enjoying, but let's not talk about that. The reason that I went back and finished was because I had been interested in it when I started it; it sounded really good. I was interested in the fact that it was an anime that dealt heavily with music and I liked the art style; I just fell into a lull with it or something and couldn't get myself to watch anymore, but then I was like, "You know what, I think I really do want to finish this." So, I did, and it was the worst mistake of my life. No, I'm just kidding, kind of... It's a beautiful, wonderful, heartwarming series, but it also then rips your heart out and stomps on it... Basically I cried a lot... I don't want to go into details - spoilers and all that, but the gist is, it's sad. If you like sad stuff go and watch this, if you can't handle sad stuff, don't. That's really all I have on that...
I also started a new series (because I'm obviously not in the middle of enough of them as it is...). It's called... something really ridiculous... hold on I have to go look it up... Cute High Earth Defense Club Love... yeah... like I said... ridiculous, but I guess it's fitting because the anime itself is pretty freaking ridiculous. It's basically a magical girl anime, but with guys (that's kind of a take off the slogan for Mahou Shounen Fight... don't sue me!). I like the premise, but they took it in a really weird direction... they did also play with the BLness that would already be inspired by a series like this so I enjoy that at least. I'm pretty sure I'm at least half way through and as crazy and confusing as it sometimes is I think I'm probably going to finish it just because it's short enough and I am getting some enjoyment out of it, mainly laughing at how ridiculous it is...
I think that's all for updating... I have a few other anime on the list of things I want to watch next, but I haven't started anything new yet... I'm also still waiting for the next season of Haikyu to come out (but that's not until October) and Attack on Titan (but last time I checked that won't be until sometime next year...).
Well, I think that's it... I don't know what I'll talk about tomorrow, but well typing this I remembered that the dub for Free Eternal Summer was finally released and it's awful. So I might talk about that... I'm actually trying not to rant about it right this moment, but I have to leave for school in fifteen minutes and that's definitely not enough time so I'll leave that for later...
Until we meet again.

Pizza Station
Hello again people; I'm still here... Yeah... I'm just going to leave it at that
I can't remember if I brought this up in a previous post (and I'm far to lazy and tired right now to go back and look), but I'm currently in a class called Cafe 1 where basically we work in the Culinary Cafe's kitchen as the line-cooks. It's cool, but it's also pretty stressful, especially for someone like me who is only taking this class because I need for the AA and I don't plan on - and know I can't handle the stress of - ever working on the line in a restaurant.
Anyway, today - and for the rest of this week - I am on the pizza station. I was really nervous about it this morning because I've never used the brick oven and getting everything prepped in time was a little stressful, but I think I did pretty well.
We had some beautiful pizzas on the menu today (I wish they would let us take pictures in class...); the one that sold the must had some gorgeous heirloom tomatoes on it with basil and fresh mozzarella.
Last week I had soup station and so far I think - prep wise - pizza station is actually a little easier. Service wise, soup station was easier, but only because I was moved up to front house expo where I basically just stood there and got to tell other people what to do.
Well, not much else to say tonight.
I might update everyone on where I am in the anime world tomorrow, but I might pick another topic depending on my mood. (Of course, knowing me I probably won't post anything...)
Anyway, until tomorr- next time...
Yeah... that...

Hey There People
Sorry I missed yesterday; I was too tired after my crafting class and went to bed super early. I know it's not a good excuse, but yeah...
So yester day I went to a crafting class. My grandmother owns a hobby shop and they've started having minature-making classes about once a month and since I'm the owners granddaughter, I get to go for free :). So yesterday we made a few things for a dollhouse craftroom. We didn't get very much done because the teacher, Maria, had accidenatelly planned too much stuff for us to do so the majority of the class was instruction and explaining what each of the projects was... But that's okay because I got a lot of stuff to take home and work on, on my own. What we were able to complete in the class were a few minature bags of stuffing and some cute scrapbook-paper books.
So yeah, I've been doing a lot of crafting recently and I hope to share more of that with you, but I'm going to save that for another time.

What Time Is It?! Anime Time.
Why did I have to make an Adventure Time reference; I don't even like Adventure Time (and that's putting it lightly).
Because I am lazy and tired, I am going to take the cheaters way out and talk about the topic that deal with the least amount of transferring photos from my phone to my computer. Meaning it's time we talk about anime!
Wasn't that what this blog was suppose to be about anyway...?
Anyway, as I said yesterday I have been watching a good amount of anime recently. Let's see, what have a watched since the last time (that wasn't yesterday) since we talked?
I finished Bonjour Sweet Love Patisserie; it was... meh... I mentioned last time that I talked about it that I was kind of over it anyway... the only reason that I even finished it was because the episodes were really short (only about five minutes each) and I was so close to the end anyway that it felt like a waste if I didn't finish.
I never ended up finishing Your Lie in April. I liked it at first; I thought it was cute and I enjoy musical anime usually. I had even gotten myself really determined to finish it, but then the day came when I told myself that I was going to finish it; I was just going to push my way through it and then I realized that I was forcing myself to watch it... And anime is supposed to be fun and something you enjoy, if you're forcing yourself through something - even if it's something that you're not really sure why you're not enjoying, maybe it just doesn't have that special spark that an anime needs to grab you - why watch it? I mean; I understand watching some series that you might not enjoy that much. I forced myself to watch Cowboy Beebop (not to say anything bad about it). The reason was because it's such a pop culture thing in anime that I felt like I had to watch it in order to understand anime more, but I never watch space anime like that; it's totally not my thing (the exception in Outlaw Star, which I absolutely loved, but honestly can't tell you why *cough* it was partly due to Aisha *cough*). I could also understand if you feel like you have to force yourself to watch an anime because a really good friend suggested/wants you to watch it so they have someone to gush about it with, but that can be hard; I try not to do that... But yeah... Moral: Enjoy the anime you are watching; if you don't like it don't watch it. I usually have about a four episode rule when it comes to anime; if it hasn't grabbed me by the end of the fourth episode it probably never will.
Sorry... I kind of went off on a tangent there... The other moral of all that was that I didn't finish Your Lie in April and probably won't try. Yes, I know that's not actually a moral... :P
Alright, on to things I enjoyed now...
Kuroko's Basketball newest season! I'm really enjoying it, and hate/loving Akashi... He just... guh! I hate him because he's evil and manipulative, but he's also adorable and I think it's funny that he's voiced by the same guy as Izaya from Durarara because he totally reminds me of him... or at least... a short, teenage, not as lethal, and not as much of a horrible person kind of way... The reason I said that is because I like Izaya and since Akashi kind of reminds me of him I think that's part of the reason I like him too, but I also hate him... feelings are hard... Anyway one things I loved about this newest season is that we've gotten to see the Generation of Miracles back when they were the Generation of Miracles. Aomine was my favorite character, until Teppei was introduced, but now thanks to this new season he's back to being my favorite. It was so awesome and adorable getting to see him in middle school and see how he and Kuroko met and got along before he started losing his love for baseball. The season has been hard on me too though because it was kind of painful to watch Aomine's disdain for the sport, that he had so adored in the beginning, grow. Anyway, I'm excited for tomorrow because the newest episode is going to come out and I can't wait because I need!
I finished the first season of Durarara x2. It's good, so far; I mean, I loved the first segment of Durarara so I would have been surprised if I didn't like this one. But man is it intense. A few new characters have been introduced, Aoba being the most notable. I have a love/hate things going for Aoba to, but I probably shouldn't go into that much... I'm not sure if it's spoiler territory or not, but I want to trend carefully so I'll avoid it. Anyway, the last episode of the season killed me. I can't go into much detail obviously, but I'll explain my pain. You see, I've been trying to read the light novels for the series for quite some time - unfortunately my attempts have all been thwarted because no one's completely translated the second volume and I obviously don't want to read any of the others until I've read that one, but in all my searchings I ran across a spoiler. It was a decently big spoiler, but it didn't ruin it for me, in fact it made me that much more obsessed with trying to read the series because I needed to know how things got to that point. Well, that scene came up... and I knew that it was the scene that had been spoiled to be the moment I saw a certain thing so I was prepared, but then it happened and I found out that I wasn't prepared at all... It was crazy... And then the episode ended with something that I had no idea was going to happen and that was crazy and almost caused my heart more pain than the first thing.
Wow... that's probably didn't make sense to anyone... Oh well...
As said yesterday I also started watching Ace of the Diamond and I am almost caught up ( I only have three episodes left), but I'm not really in the mood to talk about it right now, mostly because I've typed a lot tonight already. I'm really liking it though - a lot - so I'll definitely have to give it it's own post or something later.
Alright, I think I've typed enough.
I'll proabaly be posting craft stuff tomorrow since I have a class.
See you then.

Let's See How Long I'll Stay Around This Time
Hey, everyone! Sorry I've been gone for so long; I've been meaning to blog recently because I've been doing a lot of interesting things and while I'm in the middle of them I keep thinking, 'Oh, I should blog about this tonight,' but then night time comes around and I either forget to do it or decide that I'm too lazy and go to bed instead...
Sorry I'm such a lousy blogger.
Anyway, like I mentioned, I've been up to some pretty interesting things recently. I've been sewing more - I've now sewn one elastic-wait-banded skirt, three high-waisted skirts, and two jumperskirts, along with a handful of bags, bows, and wrist cuffs. (I'm going to be talking about a lot of things that I have pictures of, but unfortunately I'm not going to post those now. I will hopefully be making individual posts for each of the topics that I touch on at a later date and will put up pictures when I do that) I've been working with clay and silicone recently too, making lots of cute little charms that I turn into earrings and necklaces and things.
I also went to a convention. Fanime was just two weeks ago and I had a good time at that. I'll definitely talk about the stuff I did there in the future and post lots of pictures of all the fun and awesome cosplay that I saw.
I started/caught up with a few anime series. I caught up with Durarara x2; I'm just waiting for the next season to start on that one (starts in July, can't wait! They left it on a major cliffhanger, but I'll talk about that later - without spoiling anything of course). I re-caught up with Kuroko's Basketball again and I almost died because of where they left it off, guh, I need the next episode of that, but fortunately I just have to wait until Saturday. I also started a new sports anime... because that's basically all I seem to be watching recently... It's called Ace of the Diamond and this one is about baseball. I'm already on episode 66 (it's so long so far! Why did I do this to myself?!) so I just have about... twenty to go until I'm caught up I think... Uta no Prince-sama got a new season too (I was pretty surprised, I mean, I liked it, but I didn't think it was popular enough to get a second season, let alone a third), I haven't started it yet, but I plan to once I've caught up with Ace of the Diamond and finished Parasyte (yeah, I still haven't done that :P)
I also start my summer semester Wednesday of next week. I only have a semester and a half to go (summer is only eight weeks as opposed to the usual sixteen) before I graduate with my AA in Culinary Arts. I'm pretty excited! Anyway, I'll be taking Cafe 1 then Cafe 2 and ending with Production Baking. I don't know how many picture opportunities they'll be in the Cafe classes, but come Production Baking there should be lots of pictures of yummy sweets and things. I hope people are looking forward to that.
Anyway, I think that's a pretty decent post for now. Like I mentioned I'll go into more detail and things about the specific things that I've been up to in their own individual posts.
Well, night everyone!

Some Food
I wasn't feeling well yesterday, so that's why I didn't post yesterday, but I'm here today.
Nothing really interesting has happened in the time since I posted last and I'm not in the mood to draw a topic from a hat or anything tonight so I'm just going to throw up a picture and recipe of some granola bars that I made today.
Ingredients:
2 cups rolled oats
2 cups puffed rice cereal
1 cup nuts of choice (I used a mix of almonds, peanuts, and pistachios)
1/2 cup dried fruit of choice (I used cranberries)
1/4 cup butter
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp coarse salt
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
4 ounces chopped dark chocolate (or chocolate chips)
Combine the oats, rice cereal, dried fruit, and nuts in a large bowl; set aside.
Melt butter, honey, brown sugar, and salt in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a rapid boil and cook 1-2 minutes or until mixture thickens. Stir in vanilla extract (be careful, mixture will sputter).
Pour hot syrup over the oat mixture and stir to combine. Allow mixture to cool at room temperature for 5 minutes then stir in chocolate. Press mixture firmly into a parchment-lined 8" square baking pan with a spatula. Transfer to freezer for 10 minutes or until set. Cut into 18 bars.
Store granola bars in sealed container for up to 5 days or in freezer for a month
This is a recipe that I found on Pinterest although I did alter it slightly. I thought they were really good and my little sister and I had a really hard time not eating them all right away. They were really easy to make too, especially since usually granola bars are baked and stuff so these whipped up really fast.
I'm going to try to get myself onto a writing schedule for this again, but we all know how those have gone in the past so I can't guarantee anything. We'll see what happens.
Well, see you all later.

I Watched A Lot Of Anime
I'm back again.
So this weekend I spent the majority of my time catching up on Supernatural and a few of the anime series that I had fallen behind on - I'm still kind of working on that though.
On Friday I watched the last four episodes of Supernatural because that's how much I had fallen behind. I was happy to see Charlie again because she is my favorite! I also really enjoyed the episode where Dean became a teenager again; that one was pretty amusing. Dean liking Taylor Swift, hilarious. I also finished the five-minutes-per-episode-series Orenchi no Furo Jijou. I was kind of disappointed with how it ended - seemed kind of abrupt, but unfortunately I'm not surprised; I'm assuming that it just wasn't popular enough to get more episodes
On Saturday I caught up with Akatsuki no Yona; I'm really enjoying that one now that I've gotten more into it. I really like the Blue Dragon - Shinha; he's super adorable and sweet and he's voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto, one of my favorite voice actors (voice of Rin Okumura from Ao no Exorcist, Kisa Shota from Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, and Origami Cyclone from Tiger & Bunny) which makes him even more awesome. I also caught up on Bonjour, Sweet Love Patisserie; it... doesn't really have a point... I don't really like the main character and usually in a series like this I like to have a slash pairing that I ship in the background, but I don't even have that... I'm still watching it though... I think that only thing keeping me even slightly interested is that it's about a cooking school... even though they don't even really talk about the cooking at all... Anyway... I also started watching Your Lie in April again, but I haven't finished that one yet; I am enjoying it though. Oh, I forgot to mention that the new season of Kuroko's Basketball started and I caught up on that too; I was very happy when I found out that the new season had started. We're finally getting to see a lot of Akashi, who I have been dying to meet because even though the only things I know about him are the little bits and pieces that I've read on Wikipedia (I never read the manga - don't like the art style unfortunately) I've been really interested in him - it may be in part that I love his voice actor (Hiroshi Kamiya - voice of Izaya Orihara from Durarara and Takashi Nastume from Natsume Yujin Cho).
I still have to finish catching up on Your Lie in April and then I need to catch up on Parasyte the Maxim and Durarara since it finally got a new season too (I'm SO happy, mainly because I'm hoping this will encourage someone to make the light novels more easily accessible because I am dying to read those!).
Well, that's what I did over the weekend...
I also started a card-a-day 30-day tarot challenge with my friends for the month of March so I think I'm going to post that here too.
(I'm using my Osho Zen Deck)
Day 1: The Road Ahead
Adventure (Page of Earth)
--> Well, I would say that the name of this card explains it all... This month will be an adventure, new things await me along my path; the road is looking bright.
Alright, I think that's all I have to say for the day...
See you when I see you!
